15sep10:00 am5:00 pmIndigo and eco printing - strikes again!10am - 5pm

Event Details

After a sell out event at the beginning of July, I’ve booked another date before the Summer leaves us and we had to Autumn.

Come along and ‘dip’ into the wonderful world of indigo dyeing. This is suitable for beginners and experienced textile artists. Starting skills: folding, pegging and running stitch to produce some amazing results!

For the more experienced, you can plan a more complex design or lots of little samples to create something wonderful later on.

We can also have a go at eco printing onto the Indigo samples from the morning, a great new dimension to add real leaf prints and texture.
Quick results and a good variety of techniques.

Lunch – A shared lunch, bring a dish to share with others. I will co-ordinate this when we know who is coming along.

£60 for the day – Materials will be provided, but if there is something 100% cotton (and mainly white) you would like to give a new lease of life too, bring that along as well!

Wear old clothes, a painting apron and bring rubber gloves!
