JOBS AT THE OLD SCHOOL

Would you like to work for an innovative community project making a difference to the lives of disabled young people and autistic adults?

We are looking for three community-minded people to join the team working on at our flagship project in Old Wolverton.

The Old School Project is based at a Grade 2 listed building in Old Wolverton, and offers work placements to a wide range of people who need extra support on their journey towards paid employment. The building has three separate enterprises operating within it – a community centre, community café and 3 bedroomed Guest House – and work placements are offered within all enterprises, and in supporting the core functions of IT, marketing and adminstration.

The building is owned by Future Wolverton, a membership based Community Benefit Society, that has a mission to establish Wolverton as a thriving and sustainable town within the city of Milton Keynes.  We do this by enabling an active and involved community to protect and celebrate the unique heritage of the Town, whilst developing new business, housing and community facilities to ensure future prosperity.

Due to reorganisation, and additional grant funding secured through the Social Enterprise Support Fund, we are seeking to appoint to three new positions to join our existing small but committed team. We are also looking to recruit cleaners to support the operation of the Old School Guest House.
