Future Wolverton and Slated Row School are delighted to invite you to the Grand Opening of The Old School Project on Friday 3rd May! The event begins at 12 noon, and you are very welcome to join us for lunch.
So wonderful to welcome the Friday Club back to the Old School today! They used the building for many years prior to it being closed to community use, but have been without a home for sometime.
The students from Slated Row have been gradually getting to grips with the kitchen facilities at the Old School, and with the support of our Student Support Worker Tom, and support staff from the school, are beginning to settle into their new roles.
We were delighted to welcome women from across Milton Keynes to a celebration of International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March.
This was the first official hire of the Community Hall, and with over 60 guests it was a real test of the new facilities!
Just before Christmas, local residents, members of Future Wolverton and staff and students from Slated Row School gathered to dedicate a memorial bench to Joe and Margaret Caudle who were residents of the Old School for over 60 years.
